Ralph Friedgen Radio Show Debuts Wednesday

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Ralph Friedgen Radio Show begins Wednesday and airs weekly throughout the season.

The one-hour show starts at 8 p.m. on the Terrapin Sports Radio Network. Friedgen and Voice of the Terrapins Johnny Holliday will be on the air taking phone calls from fans and discussing the season.

This season the show will air before a live audience at two Outback Steakhouse locations. Wednesday's show will take place at the Outback Steakhouse in Hyattsville, Md. (3500 East-West Highway).

Wednesday's show will air on the following Terrapin Sports Radio Network affiliates:
# WJFK-FM 106.7 - Washington D.C.
# WARK-AM 1490 - Hagerstown
# WFMD-AM 930 - Frederick
# WQMR-FM 101.1 - Ocean City
# WGOP-AM 540 - Crisfield
# WBEY-FM 97.9 - Crisfield

He talks about the season opener against California, the team's depth at running back and wide receiver, how linebacker Alex Wujciak likes to trash-talk with offensive coordinator James Franklin, the team's youth, how the SEC's huge television deal affects other conferences and his substantive weight loss (he's lost 105 pounds).

Third Season of `Terrapins Rising' Kicks Off Tuesday On Comcast Sportsnet

College Park, Md. - Fans of college football and University of Maryland followers can gear up for the 2009 season starting next week.

The third season of `Terrapins Rising,' an eight-episode reality series chronicling the Maryland football program, debuts Tuesday. The show will air at 9:30 p.m. each Tuesday for eight consecutive weeks culminating Sept. 1, just prior to the team's season opener against California.
